This is the life of the community, and where all shows and sales are held.

Create a Kennel

Create a kennel in your game. You can build this however you want, in any style you want. At this point, you are only limited by your own creativity.

Obtain Dogs

Start obtaining dogs. The forum is a good place to be because although you can create any dog/breed imaginable, there are also plenty of other players 'selling' their dogs and puppies. If you don’t want to create your own, or want a mix of dogs, the forum is the place to go. Each seller will have their own rules and code of conduct for acquiring their dogs.

Register

Head over to our Registries Page and find the breed club for your dog. If there isn’t one for your breed, simply browse the group clubs or register directly with the SKC. When you’re sure your dog fits the standards given, you can fill out the registration form. This is mandatory if you wish to compete your dog.

Once your dog(s) are accepted into registries, you will have a few options on what to do:

You can keep them as a companion pet; training them and keeping us all up to date with pictures.

You can breed them and produce puppies to either sell or keep starting your own legacy

You can compete your dogs and enter them into the various shows/competitions we have around the SKC

Ageing and Breeding

The SKC suggests using its ageing system, however it is fully optional and you may choose to play differently if you wish.

We tend to operate with the following: 8 Weeks = 1 Sim Year.

This keeps all of the puppies and dogs in the community ageing at the same rate, and helps us keep track of things.

*Just remember, the longer it takes your dog to age the more time you have to gain titles for it*
